Every individual that embarks on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic with our team is equipped, empowered and provided the opportunity to walk out and craft their own missionary journey and story. Thus, contributing to the larger gospel narrative of being a disciple and making disciples!

The Dominican Republic is rich in culture and beauty, yet many communities face challenges like poverty, limited education, and healthcare access. This is why missions work is so crucial to these communities. AGS believes in providing essential support to meet these needs, working with local leaders to deliver sustainable programs and community outreach. Through practical aid and faith-based encouragement, we aim to empower communities, helping to create pathways for lasting, positive change and a stronger future for the Dominican people.
Mission Opportunities
Mission teams with AGS will have the opportunity to serve in a variety of impactful areas, including hands-on service projects that meet immediate community needs, and school adoption programs that foster long-term educational support. Teams will engage in outreach and evangelism efforts, sharing the Gospel and building relationships within local communities. Additionally, teams will contribute to business development initiatives that empower local entrepreneurs and promote sustainable growth, further strengthening the community’s ability to thrive. Through these efforts, teams will make a lasting impact while growing in their own faith and understanding of cross-cultural ministry.

Service Projects
Within the communities we serve in, a multitude of service opportunities await, spanning a wide range of needs. Outreach includes VBS, festivals, construction, painting, cleaning, and campus beautification projects. Through these efforts, we strive to make a lasting gospel impact on the communities we serve.

Community Festivals
A festival unites the Body of Christ to use our gifts and resources in sharing the Gospel with an entire community. Partnering U.S. missionaries with local Dominican churches, we fulfill the Great Commission by preaching the Gospel on a large scale as we Arise, Go, & Serve in love.

VBS Outreach
In collaboration with local pastors, we bring U.S. teams to lead VBS programs in villages, providing games, crafts, outreach to moms, prayer walks, and evangelism. Our VBS events reach 50 to hundreds of kids, building lasting, high-impact relationships in the community.

Church Partnerships
Our partnerships with Pastoral Alliances across the Dominican Republic have been key to our mission’s success over the past 12 years. Established in Gaspar Hernandez, Puerto Plata, Luperon, and La Vega, these alliances strengthen our impact and help us expand into new communities by God’s grace.
